Accessibility
Lauterstar wants everyone to be able to use our websites. That includes people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We keep working at it over time.
What we do
- Clean HTML with landmarks, a skip link, and a clear heading order
- You can use the whole site with a keyboard, and you can always see what is in focus
- Light and dark themes that follow your system setting, with text contrast of at least 4.5:1
- Less motion when your device asks for it (the prefers-reduced-motion setting)
- Alt text for images, and links that say where they go
In the app
- Reduce Motion is honored: background scenes and win effects hold a still frame
- Low Power Mode slows animated scenes down; it does not stop them
- Light, dark, and auto looks, with four color themes
- Every control has a VoiceOver label, and you can hide the timer
- You can turn haptics off in Settings
- No flashing, no forced timers, and no penalty for playing slowly
